The iMRS Prime Mat: Exagon FIR Full-Body Foundation

The Exagon FIR is the premium full-body iMRS Prime Mat included with the current core Hybrid Set.

This advanced iMRS PEMF Mat contains six solid, uninsulated copper coils divided into three pairs. These coil pairs have different winding characteristics to help distribute the PEMF signal across the full-body applicator.

The Exagon FIR Mat uses Swiss Bionic’s Triple Sawtooth waveform and has a published intensity range of 0.27-45 microtesla.

An additional carbon-fibre layer provides adjustable far-infrared radiant warmth within an approximate wavelength range of 3-14 microns. By combining PEMF and far-infrared within the same full-body applicator, the Exagon FIR is the principal iMRS PEMF FIR Mat in the current iMRS Prime product line.

Hybrid Mode allows full-body PEMF and far-infrared warmth to operate together during the same session. The warmth can be adjusted through the iMRS Prime interface according to personal preference and does not need to be used during every PEMF session.

The iMRS Prime Biorhythm Clock

The Biorhythm Clock is one of the most important features of the iMRS Prime platform.

Instead of treating every time of day identically, the full-body iMRS Prime Mat uses four principal carrier frequencies associated with morning, noon, evening and night.

The four Biorhythm carrier frequencies are:

Morning: 15 Hz, associated with an energetic start to the day
Noon: 5.5 Hz, associated with midday balance and reset
Evening: 3 Hz, associated with a slower evening session
Night: 0.5 Hz, associated with quiet nighttime and sleep preparation

These are not four isolated tones. Because the carrier frequencies are delivered through a non-sinusoidal Triple Sawtooth waveform, each fundamental frequency is accompanied by mathematically related harmonics.

Examples include:

0.5 Hz, followed by 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3 Hz
3 Hz, followed by 6, 9, 12 and 15 Hz
5.5 Hz, followed by 11, 16.5 and 22 Hz
15 Hz, followed by 30, 45 and 60 Hz

The fundamental carrier frequency is strongest. Each successive harmonic decreases in amplitude.

At the Morning setting, for example, 15 Hz is stronger than 30 Hz, 30 Hz is stronger than 45 Hz, and 45 Hz is stronger than 60 Hz.

This decreasing amplitude is an important part of describing the system accurately.

Why the Triple Sawtooth Waveform Matters

A pure sine wave is concentrated around one principal frequency. A non-sinusoidal waveform, such as a sawtooth, contains the fundamental frequency together with additional harmonics.

A sawtooth spectrum contains both odd and even harmonics. The iMRS Prime Mat uses a more sophisticated Triple Sawtooth design, creating a layered low-frequency spectrum instead of delivering only one isolated tone.

This helps explain why the published specification, 0.5-25 Hz plus harmonics, communicates more than a simple frequency-range number.

The Biorhythm carriers and their lower harmonics provide relevant coverage throughout the approximately 0.5-50 Hz region and beyond. Higher-order spectral components continue at progressively lower amplitude.

Theoretically, an ideal sawtooth series has no fixed mathematical upper limit. A physical PEMF system, however, is shaped by the bandwidth of its electronics, coils and applicator construction.

For this reason, the most accurate description is:

Low-frequency PEMF from 0.5-25 Hz plus odd and even harmonics, with its primary practical emphasis in the low-frequency region.

This explains the sophistication of the waveform without incorrectly presenting every higher harmonic as an equal-strength carrier frequency.

Exagon Pad: Broader Local Positioning

The Exagon Pad is a larger local PEMF applicator containing two solid copper coils.

It uses a square waveform and has a published intensity range of 0.35-120 microtesla.

Its broader surface makes it useful when someone wants local PEMF positioning across a larger region than the Exagon Spot covers.

The Pad can be used independently or as part of a compatible Split Mode configuration.

Exagon Spot: Flexible and Concentrated Positioning

The Exagon Spot contains one solid copper coil in each of its two flexible segments.

It uses a square waveform and has a published intensity range of 0.43-300 microtesla.

The two segments can be positioned separately or arranged on opposing sides. When positioned appropriately opposite one another, they can create the arrangement commonly described as the Helmholtz effect.

The Spot’s higher maximum intensity is related to its smaller and more concentrated applicator design. It does not mean that maximum intensity is always preferable or that the Spot replaces the full-body iMRS Prime Mat.

The Exagon FIR Mat, Pad and Spot are designed for different coverage areas and session styles.

Automatic Polarity Changes

Every compatible Exagon PEMF applicator includes Optical Function Control.

During a PEMF session, the system changes polarity automatically every two minutes. The applicator indicator displays the changing polarity state and provides visual confirmation that the applicator is operating.

This alternating polarity is built into the system. It does not require the user to stop the session or change a switch manually.

Two Compatible PEMF Applications with Split Mode

The iMRS Prime Connector Box contains two independent digital-to-analogue converters.

Split Mode uses this two-channel architecture to divide the touchscreen into two independently controlled operating areas. This allows two compatible PEMF applications to run through one control unit with individually selected settings.

Depending on the connected applicators and selected software settings, Split Mode can support configurations such as:

Split Mode does not simply duplicate one signal. Each supported side can be configured independently.

Manual Mode allows you to select the connected applicator, session duration, intensity, Biorhythm or Organ Clock option and other supported settings.

It provides control over the available iMRS Prime parameters, but it does not turn the system into an unrestricted arbitrary-frequency generator.

No. Those prices apply to the current core iMRS Prime Hybrid Set.

The Exagon Pad and Exagon Spot are optional and priced separately.

What is the difference between the Pad and Spot?

The Pad covers a broader local area and contains two internal coils.

The Spot has two flexible coil segments for more concentrated positioning. The segments can create a Helmholtz-style arrangement when placed appropriately on opposing sides.

Can two applicators operate at the same time?

Split Mode can operate two compatible PEMF applications through the independent channels in the Connector Box. Each side can use its own supported settings.

Can I enter any frequency I want?

No. Manual Mode provides control over supported iMRS Prime settings, but the system is not an unrestricted arbitrary-frequency generator.

It operates through its available Biorhythm, Organ Clock, Fast Start, iGUIDE and other software parameters.

Does the system produce only 0.5-25 Hz?

The primary low-frequency PEMF spectrum is published as 0.5-25 Hz plus harmonics.

The Triple Sawtooth waveform produces odd and even harmonics beyond the fundamental frequencies. Certain specialized software programs may also use separately programmed signals.

Does the iMRS Prime produce MHz frequencies?

An ideal mathematical sawtooth has harmonics without a fixed theoretical upper limit.

In physical equipment, higher-order components become progressively weaker and are shaped by the bandwidth of the electronics and applicator. It would therefore be misleading to advertise equal-strength MHz carrier frequencies.

The system is primarily a low-frequency PEMF platform with harmonic-rich waveform content.
