PEMF is not designed to treat or heal any particular disease. The approach of low-pulsed PEMF is holistic and therefore also not limited to certain conditions.
When you’re using a Swiss Bionic system like the iMRS Prime or Omnium1, the simplest approach is:
-
Start with the full-body mat to support the whole system.
-
Then add a local applicator (Pad, Spot) if you want to focus on a specific area.
This way you’re not choosing one instead of the other — you’re building from general to specific.
These systems are designed for general wellness and daily energy routines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. So instead of choosing an application based on a “condition,” choose it based on what your body needs that day and how much time you have.
1. Why start with the full-body mat?
-
It delivers a gentle, evenly distributed field.
-
It supports overall balance first, before you get specific.
-
It works well with the time-of-day / biorhythm programs on iMRS Prime.
-
It’s repeatable — easy to do 1–2 times per day.
Think of the mat as your baseline PEMF session.
2. When to add a local applicator
After the mat, you can add a Pad or Spot if:
-
You want extra attention on a specific area
-
You’re doing a shorter second session later in the day
-
You’re already comfortable with the mat and want more targeted support
Local applicators are great “add-ons,” but they work best after the system has had a chance to address the whole body.
3. Simple session structure (iMRS Prime / Omnium1 style)
Option A — Basic daily routine
-
Full-body mat
-
Done.
Option B — Full + local
-
Full-body mat
-
Then Pad/Spot on the area you want to focus on
Option C — Two-a-day
-
Morning: full-body mat (lower intensity)
-
Evening: short local session
This keeps it practical and easy for families and studios.
4. Intensity and sensitivity
Not everyone responds the same way.
-
If you’re new or sensitive — stay lower and shorter, especially on local applicators.
-
If you’re experienced — you can extend the local session a bit, as long as it feels comfortable.
Comfort and consistency are more important than “stronger.”
5. What not to do
-
Don’t skip the full-body mat all the time and only use local — you lose the system-wide benefit.
-
Don’t run long, strong sessions right away if you’re new.
-
Don’t match applications to a medical diagnosis — these systems are for general wellness.
6. Need help choosing programs?
If you’re not sure which iMRS Prime software mode, time-of-day setting, or accessory to use, we can map it out for you based on the system you own and who’s using it.
