What is the purpose of using different PEMF applicators?

The iMRS Prime and Omnium1 PEMF systems are designed to promote holistic wellness through a combination of full-body and localized applications. The whole-body mat serves as the foundation, delivering low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic fields that interact with the body’s natural bio-electrical field. This full-body approach is intended to support overall energy, balance, and vitality by stimulating cellular communication and picking up on the body’s subtle energy systems—helping to harmonize and recharge the entire organism.

In addition to the whole-body mat, both systems include (or can be paired with) localized applicators such as the Exagon Pad, Exagon Spot, OmniPad, or OmniSpot. These are designed to complement whole-body sessions and are ideal for focusing on specific areas that may need extra support. Localized use can support the body’s natural recovery responses, including tissue resilience, regeneration, and delivery of oxygen and nutrients to areas under stress or strain.

The iMRS Prime and Omnium1 systems utilize different waveforms for each type of applicator—the triple sawtooth waveform for whole-body use, and square waveforms for localized applications—making both integral to a balanced PEMF wellness experience. Local applicators are typically used after or between full-body sessions and follow general usage principles: shorter sessions with higher intensities for acute concerns, and longer sessions with lower intensities for chronic needs.
